Kasama Chocolate
Packaging Design, Logo

Started in 2015, Kasama Chocolate is a local bean-to-bar chocolate company on Granville Island. Bean-to-bar refers to the process of making chocolate from scratch, straight from cacao beans. While there are many brands of chocolate on the market, only a handful make their own chocolate from the bean.

Using real stories from people who have experienced overdose and addiction, as well as mediums such as crayons (often associated with childhood), the aim was to display the humanity and story that each patient holds and evoke an empathetic response in ER staff.
