SAD (Stories, Art and Design) Magazine

Published two times per year, SAD Magazine is an independent publication dedicated to covering the Stories, Art and Design of Vancouver from the perspective of local, emerging creatives.

My role at SAD Magazine is Print Designer - working on the layouts and overall feel of the publication.

BUT! I also have done illustration (as seen above) and event work with SAD Mag. We recently hosted a launch event for the latest issue TIME.

SAD strives to provide an accessible platform for early-career writers, photographers, illustrators, graphic designers, musicians, performers, typographers and multimedia to showcase their work.

SAD Mag is dedicated to proactively seeking out and publishing underrepresented voices, including queer folks, people of colour, Indigenous peoples, and contributors of all ages.
