Branding“I Feel Warm” a Toronto film directed by Amara Abbas and DP'd be Alex Nour. The film is about culture, violence, complicity and desensitization. I worked on developing their branding and title sequence with practical effects using materials such as gels and creams.

Print Campaign, Logo DesignJohn Fluevog is a cult brand, known for it’s uniqueness and commitment to craftsmanship. The shoes are designed to be unexpected and quirky, often said that they are “always in style, because they’re never in style”.

Darn and Dart
Social Media, Print, Enviornmental Graphics, Website, Additional Assets; stickers, hats etc.The fashion industry is valued at 3 trillion dollars globally. While it is a massive GDP producer, it has also been found to be the third largest polluter in the world. Darn and Dart, the (fictional) brand, though can’t solely solve this problem, aims to start a movement to curve it. By opening a modern take on a mending and alteration studio in Vancouver, B.C., they aim to make it easier to love the clothes you own.

Kasama Chocolate
Packaging Design, LogoStarted in 2015, Kasama Chocolate is a local bean-to-bar chocolate company on Granville Island. Bean-to-bar refers to the process of making chocolate from scratch, straight from cacao beans. While there are many brands of chocolate on the market, only a handful make their own chocolate from the bean.

KAYLI KOONAR

As a designer, I put a lot of trust in the process often using experimentation to pivot, refine and find the best direction to move forward with. I work with a number of mediums that range from digital illustration and design to analog photography and image-making techniques.  

Projects that involve the mixing of concepts, a variety of mediums, and a meaningful cause are what I find most rewarding and exciting to work on.
